Recipe for "Lobster/crab Chilli"


Tips

Best served with hot rice! Please adjust the amount of sauces and chillies according to your liking :)

Ingredients

Lobster/crab 4 - 6 (wash & cut into half)
Large Onions 1 (peeled & diced), 1 (peeled & round cut)
Garlics 3 (peeled & diced)
Ginger 1 inch (peeled & diced)
Carrots 1 (peeled & cubed)
Chilli Paste 4 tablespoons
Bird Chilli (Cili Api) 5 (you may add more if u want to)
Kaffir Lime Leaves (Daun Limau Purut) 3
Tomato Sauce 3 tablespoons
Chilli Sauce 2 tablespoons
Fish Sauce 3 tablespoons
Lime Juice 2 tablespoons
Water 1/4 cup
Salt & Sugar Adjust to your liking
Coriander/chives For garnishing

Instructions

Cut the Lobster/Crabs into half

Heat up the cooking oil and add the onions and ginger. Wait until they turned a bit brown

Add chili paste and cook for 10 minutes, then add carrots, sauces, lime juice and water

When the carrots are half-cooked, add lobster/crabs, bird chilli and kaffir lime leaves. Stir them occasionally and cook them for 10-15 minutes.

Garnish with coriander or chives and it's ready to be served!
