Recipe for "Creamy Wet Butter Prawn"

Tips

best served with hot rice and also add more chillis to make it less 'muak'.

Ingredients

Bird's Eye Chilli (Cili Padi) 4-8 pcs (thinly sliced)
Large Prawns 200 grams
Butter 3 tablespoon
Evaporated Milk (Canned) 3/4 can
Curry Leaves 20 leaves
Corn Flour (Optional) 1 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar 1 tbsp
Cooking Oil 2 tablespoon
Garlic (Blended) 2 tablespoon

Instructions

1

Firstly, clean the prawns with fresh/tap water. do not remove the skin as it is important to flavour up the sauce.

2

Add cooking oil in the pan. then as the oil begins to heat up add butter. (oil helps to prevent the butter getting burnt easily)

3

Then, add in garlic and cook until it turns brownish.

4

Next, add in your prawns and cook it for a bit. we do not want to overcook them.

5

Quickly, add in a generous amount of evaporated milk of your choice. the quantity depends on the amount of sauce that you'd like.

6

Lastly, add in curry leaves, chillis and season it with salt and sugar.

7

The flavour of the sauce should be a bit spicy, creamy and also a wonderful balance of sweet and also salty

8

The sauce will thickened in a few minutes. if its not then you have poured a little too much quantity of milk. dont worry, just add some cornstarch.

9

And we're done! enjoy!
