Recipe for "English Omelette"

Tips

Use a non-stick pan to make the perfectly shaped omelette.

Serve it with fries (chips, as they call it here) and tomato ketchup for the real English experience! :)

Ingredients

Eggs 3
Milk 3 tbsp
Sausages (Any Meat Filling Of Your Choice) 1/4 cup
Onions 2 tbsp
Cheese (Optional) 1/4 cup
Salt And Pepper 1 pinch
Butter 1/2 tbsp

Instructions

1

Cut the sausages and onions into small pieces.

2

Heat a medium-sized frying pan on medium heat with butter.

3

Whisk the eggs and milk in a bowl until frothy, then add in onions, sausages and cheese. Whisk until well mixed.

4

Once the frying pan is well-heated, pour in the omelette mixture and add in a pinch of salt and pepper for taste. Let it cook on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.

5

When the omelette is halfway cooked and still a little watery on the top, (here comes the tricky part!) try to fold the omelette into a half moon shape in the pan by slightly tilting the pan away from you and let it cook on low heat for another minute.

6

Then flip your omelette and cook the other side for another minute as well.

7

Finally, serve it on a plate alongside with chips (and turkey ham or rashers, as shown in my picture) and enjoy your fluffy omelettes! :)
