Recipe for "One Pot Chicken Stew"


Tips

To get good yellow color, you may used turmeric powder or saffron seed.

Ingredients

Chicken 500 gram
Onion 1 large (dice)
Garlic 3 cloves
Ground Ginger 1/2 inch (juliene cut)
Bay Leave 1 -2 pieces
Dry Rosemary 1 teaspoon
Dry Basil 1 teaspoon
Dry Thyme 1 teaspoon
Chicken Cubes 1 - 2 pieces
Salt And Pepper To taste
Olive Oil 2 - 3 tablespoons
Water 500ml
Potato 4 med (skin off, cubes into chunk)

Instructions

Heat the olive oil inside non - stick , fry the chicken until it brown. set aside.

With remaining oil, stir all the remaining ingredient (onion, garlic, bay leave, rosemary, thyme, basil, ginger and potato.

Pour some water and chicken cubes. Put the lid on and let it cook for 25 - 30 min.

Once the chicken is tender, add salt and pepper to taste.
