Recipe for "Eggless Chocolate Sponge Cake"

Ingredients

Plain Flour 200g
Caster Sugar 200g
Baking Powder 2 teaspoon
Bicarbonate Of Soda 1 teaspoon
Cocoa Powder 75g
Warm Water 200ml
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Sunflower Oil 125ml
Essence Vanilla 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

Pre heat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Mix all ingredients together and stir well until the batter well combinate.

Pour into greased baking tin. The mixture should be 2cm deep.

Bake for 25 minutes. When cooked leave in tin for 5 minutes, then turn out onto cooling rack.
