2 ekor ikan bagok - dipotong
Secukupnya air
4 biji bawang merah - dikisar
3 ulas bawang putih - dikisar
1 inch halia - dikisar
2 batang serai - diketuk
2 cawan cili giling
1 cawan minyak
1 kuntum bunga kantan - belah 4
4 tangkai daun kesom
1 cawan pari air asam jawa
Secukupnya gula dan garam

Panaskan minyak dan tumis kan serai, halia, bawang Besar, bawang putih dan cili giling hingga garing dan pecah minyak.
