Buttermilk (Freshmilk + 1 Tsp Lemon Juice) | 1/2 cup |
Vanilla Essence | 1 tsp |
Grated Lemon Zest | 1 |
Red Or Pink Food Coloring | 1/2 tsp |
Add in flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and sift them.
Use a large bowl to beat the sugar and butter with mixer.
Add in eggs one at a time to the mixer bowl
Add in condensed milk and vanilla essence
Pour in buttermilk alternately with the flour mixture and mix the batter gently
Lastly add in the grated lemon into the batter
Divide the batter into 2 medium bowl. One bowl with red color and another remain the original.
Grease the 8-9inch pan and pour the original and colored batter by large scoop alternately till finished.
Use a "satay" stick to swirl the batter for a marble effect.
Set the oven 170 degrees and baked about 60 to 70 minutes
