Recipe for "Lemon Buttermilk Cake"

Buttermilk juga boleh digantikan dgn yogurt asli yang dicairkan dgn sedikit air.

Ingredients

Flour 1 3/4 cup
Salt 1 pinch
Butter 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Large Eggs 3
Condensed Milk 3/4 cup
Buttermilk (Freshmilk + 1 Tsp Lemon Juice) 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Grated Lemon Zest 1
Red Or Pink Food Coloring 1/2 tsp

Instructions

Add in flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and sift them.

Use a large bowl to beat the sugar and butter with mixer.

Add in eggs one at a time to the mixer bowl

Add in condensed milk and vanilla essence

Pour in buttermilk alternately with the flour mixture and mix the batter gently

Lastly add in the grated lemon into the batter

Divide the batter into 2 medium bowl. One bowl with red color and another remain the original.

Grease the 8-9inch pan and pour the original and colored batter by large scoop alternately till finished.

Use a "satay" stick to swirl the batter for a marble effect.

Set the oven 170 degrees and baked about 60 to 70 minutes
