Puff Pastry | 1 box |
Nutella | 1 cup |
Macadamia Nuts, Chopped | 2/3 cup |
Egg, Beaten | 1 nos |
Water | 1 tbsp |
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Unfold a puff pastry on each cookie sheet.
Spread 1/2 cup Nutella in the center section of each sheet. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup macadamia nuts.
With a small knife, make slits 1 inch apart on each side of the Nutella. Carefully braid the sections over the top of the Nutella.
Pinch the ends of the pastries to close. Whisk the egg with 1 Tbs. water. Brush the top of each pastry with egg wash.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool before serving if you can stand to wait.
