Recipe for "Vol Au Vent With Apple And Chocolate Ganache Filling"


Tips

Use green apple instead of red apple for nice taste .

Ingredients

Chocolate Ganache
Chocolate Bar (Melted) 100g
Whipping Cream 100g
Brown Sugar 2 tablespoon
Apple Filling
Green Apple (Grated) 1/2 cup
Cinnamon Powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
Brown Sugar 2 tablespoon
Puff Pastry
Ready Made Square 5 pieces

Instructions

In saucepan, heat up apple grated with brown sugar and cinnamon powder until liquid sauce come out nicely.

In separate bowl, beat whipping cream with sugar and add melted chocolate.

Beat until forming nice foam.

Put the chocolate ganache in piping bag and chill for easy piping later.

Cut ready made puff pastry into four square and top with another puff pastry on every edge of the squared pastry.

Nicely fork in every base of the squared pastry to prevent the pastry overly puff up when baking later.

Coated the squared pastry with beaten egg for glossy look.

Bake pastry in pre-heated oven at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes until nicely brown.

Fill up the cooled pastry with apple filling and chocolate ganache.
