Recipe for "Spinach Oat Porridge"


Tips

The spinach can be prepared the night before if you insist that you have no time to cook it in the morning but honestly, it takes just a few mins to cook. It taste better freshly cooked too.

Ingredients

Oatmeal 3-4 tbspn
Milk 1 cup
Spinach (Clean And Cut) 2 handfulls
Garlic 2 cloves
Salted Butter (Melted) 2-3 tbspn
Sweet Pickled Vege (Minced) Garnish (optional)
Salt To taste

Instructions

Boil milk and cook oat as per usual. Adjust the consistency according to your preference.

Set the oat aside once cooked.

Sauteé garlic with some olive oil.

Once fragrant, add in the spinach and fry till wilted.

Add a bit of salt but not too much if you're planning to use salted butter later.

Pour the spinach on top of oat and garnish with minced pickled vege and drizzle with melted butter
