Recipe for "Easy Spaghetti Carbonara"

Tips

1. This recipe is best to be eaten immediately after you finished making it because the sauce will get drier once it cool down.

2. Can use sausages instead of chicken ham.

3. You can also use Parmesan Cheese instead cheddar cheese. (i used cheddar cheese because i don't have the Parmesan Cheese, so i improvised a little bit)

Ingredients

Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Garlic, Squashed 1 clove
Chicken Ham, Cubed 55 g
Spaghetti 200 g
Eggs 2
Cheddar Cheese, Shredded 55 g
Freshly Ground Pepper 1
Broccoli, Cooked 1/2 cups or as desired

Instructions

1

In a large mixing ball, crack in the eggs and add in shredded cheddar cheese. Then whisk until combined. And set aside.

2

Add the pasta in generous amount of salted boiling water. And cook until, as per according to the package directions. Mine it took 13 minutes.

3

In a frying pan, add in olive oil and garlic. Over medium heat, cook the garlic.

4

Stirring occasionally cook the garlic for 2 minutes and remove the garlic. Add in Chicken ham and cook for 5 minutes or until golden and crisp.

5

Out of heat, add the pasta directly from the pan using a pasta spoon. And stir a few times to coat the pasta.

6

Then add the pasta into the egg-cheddar mixture and quickly mix with tongs. The sauce should thicken, not scramble.

7

And if desired, add the cooking spaghetti water to obtain the consistency of your preference. Served with cooked broccoli.

8

And immediately serve on a warm dish.
