Recipe for "Oxtail Stew Served With Toasted Bread"


Tips

Oxtail should be cut by butcher shop or market due it quite hard to use your hand & clever.

Demi glace powder may help to ticken the gravy when its simmered for some time.

Ingredients

Oxtail 1 kg
Carrot 1 stalk
Cherry Tomato 200gm
Bell Pepper 2 no
Celery 1 stalk
Leek 1 stalk
Onion 1 no
Garlic 5 cloves
Dried Rosemarry 3 to 4 pinch
Bay Leaf 3 pieces
Demi Glace/brown Stock 100gm/100ml
Water & Cooking Oil As Needed, Salt & Pepper To Taste
Sliced Plain Bread As needed

Instructions

Wash oxtail, cut all vegetables into small pieces or suit to consumption size.

Lays all ingredients (1) on a tray and sprinkle some oil.
Bake in the oven with 180℃ heat for 15 minutes or until turn brown.

Heat oil in a stock pot, saute garlic & onion, add in bay leaf & rosemarry. Stir till brown. Pour all in baked ingredients.

Add in demi glace that diluted in water. Add some water into suitable measure. Simmer until tender. Seasoning needed to taste.

Portion stew into serving bowl and serve with your chosen bread. Its ready to enjoyed!
