Recipe for "Alilbite Choc Chip Cookies"


Tips

you can add any nuts you like, pecans, walnuts, almond, macadamia, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, raisins.

Freeze the dough for 10-15 minutes before baking.

It is also suitable to make frozen cookies. scoop onto the tray. let it freeze for few hours. transfer to ziplock bag.

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients
Unsalted Butter (Soften At Room Temperature) 1 cup @ 226g
Icing Sugar 80g
Light Brown Sugar 160g
Egg (A Size) 1
Egg Yolk 1
Pure Vanilla Extract 1 1/2tsp
Dry Ingredients
All Purpose Flour 2 cup
Instant Oats 1/4 cup
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Semisweet Choc Chip 1 1/2cup @ 270g

Instructions

DRY INGREDIENTS

Mix the flour, oats, baking soda & salt. combine thoroughly. set aside

WET INGREDIENTS

In a bowl,beat the butter until smooth & creamy. add both sugar and beat until fluffy.

Beat in whole egg well, add yolk after. Beat well again.

Add in the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly

ASSEMBLING

In the bowl of wet ingredients, using spatula fold in the flour mixture bit by bit until finish. Do not overbeat

Mix in the chocolate chip, fold it in again until just combined.

Freeze the dough for 15 minutes & preheat the oven at 180c

Line the tray with a parchment paper and scoop the batter onto the tray spaced 4-5 cm apart.

Bake for 12 mins if you like it soft, 15 mins if you like it crunchy
