I had fun cooking this recipe. I learned this recipe few years ago from my mother and i still like it. It was a great learning experience.
With the same method and instructions, a little bit of improvisation on ingredients, i think it turned out just as good as the recipe above.
It tasted yummy and it's not that thick (i like it like that because it's already sweet enough, so i don't have to eat much of it) and i skipped the water and used evaporated milk instead. This recipe is one of the filipino desserts (which the called Leche' Flan) and it basically how they do it. They also used only egg yolk so that the pudding to maintain a smooth texture inside the pudding. It might be a bit sweeter but it is so good.
