1 1/2 cups | all purpose flour |
3 teaspoons | baking powder |
1 teaspoon | salt |
1 tablespoon | white sugar |
1 1/4 cups | milk (fresh/low fat/skim/buttermilk) |
1 | egg |
3 tablespoons | butter/margerine (melted) |
2 handful | strawberry |
3 tablespoons (adjustable) | sugar |
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter/margerine. Mix until smooth (no lump) and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.

Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium high heat and pour some of the pancake batter onto the pan. Brown both side.

In a sauce pan, simmer the sugar and some water before adding the sliced strawberry. Cook until the strawberry soften.
