Lobster/crab Chilli

When it comes to Malay dishes, I prefer not to stick with a rigid kind of recipe. So 'campak2 recipe' is simply my style! Cooking with love is the best ingredient remember?? :D

Best served with hot rice! Please adjust the amount of sauces and chillies according to your liking :)

Ingredients

4 - 6 (wash & cut into half) lobster/crab
1 (peeled & diced), 1 (peeled & round cut) large onions
3 (peeled & diced) garlics
1 inch (peeled & diced) ginger
1 (peeled & cubed) carrots
4 tablespoons chilli paste
5 (you may add more if u want to) bird chilli (cili api)
3 kaffir lime leaves (daun limau purut)
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chilli sauce
3 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 cup water
Adjust to your liking salt & sugar
For garnishing coriander/chives

Cut the Lobster/Crabs into half

Heat up the cooking oil and add the onions and ginger. Wait until they turned a bit brown

Add chili paste and cook for 10 minutes, then add carrots, sauces, lime juice and water

When the carrots are half-cooked, add lobster/crabs, bird chilli and kaffir lime leaves. Stir them occasionally and cook them for 10-15 minutes.
