Tips

If let say you guys xnak letak air asam, you can add in vinegar or lemon juice. It's depends on your appetite.

Ingredients

3 tbsp minyak masak
1 biji bawang besar
6 batang cili padi
2 genggam ikan bilis
100 ml air asam jawa
1 tsp garam
2 tsp gula

Instructions

Tuang minyak panas dalam kuali. Bila dah panas, goreng ikan bilis sampai garing (macam goreng untuk makan nasi lemak). Makesure korang basuh dulu ye.

Once dah garing, masukkan bawang besar yang dipotong dadu. Sekali dengan cili padi yang dah di hiris halus. Erm.. Kalau korang kaki pedas, nak guna banyak pun boleh. Tapi disebabkan aku dan suami not really into spices.. So aku buh dalam 6 biji je.

Tumis sampai cili ngan bawang kecut, pastu tuang air asam ke dalam kuali. Sampai dia mendidih.
