Baked Chicken

I used to fry chicken for my daughter but sometimes she complains that the chicken meat is not that tender. Hence, I tried to bake the chicken instead of frying to make it tender and wallah ! She really loves the tenderness and juiciness of the chicken and it brings up her appetites too. Thought of sharing this simple recipe with others. *Note: I do not use oven to bake the chicken but a marble-coated multi cooker instead. Hence no temperature is set and i bake it under a slow heat constantly. If using oven, you can set the temperature as 350°F (175°C) and bake it for 30 minutes.

Tips

"Slow cook" the chicken to maximize its tenderness and not to bake it until dry but leave some moist or greasy effect to instill its juiciness. Do not add any oil, the natural oil from the chicken will moisten its meat. You can add in some sliced tomatoes and lemons according to your preference.

2 peels onion
Half carrot
3 pinches turmeric powder
3 pinches salt
3 pinches coarse black pepper

Clean the thigh chicken. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, salt and coarse black pepper in the baking tray.

Slice the onions and add in those with the chicken in the baking tray.

Cut the carrot into coins or half coins and add in those with the chicken in the baking tray.

Bake the chicken for 10 minutes, add in some butter to taste. Continue to bake for another 20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
