2 | mud crab |
6 cloves | garlic |
1.5 inch | grated ginger |
3 | minced shallots |
7 tbsp | peanut oil |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
2 cups | chicken broth |
1/4 cup | tomato paste |
1/2 cup | chili sauce |
4 pcs | thai chillies |
1 | egg, beaten |
1/4 cup | spring onion, sliced |
In a bowl, mix cornstarch with water. Then heat oil and stir shallots, ginger, garlic and chillies. Til fragrant.
Add crab pieces and broth. Bring to boil. And cover to let simmer for approximately 5-6minutes.

Stir in tomato paste and chili sauce. Taste, and season accordingly. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until thicken.

Remove from heat and add egg, and spring onions.
