Fried Ikan Pekasam With Carrot.

Ikan Pekasam is given by my friend. When I check the carrot I stored, it looks like it's going to rot. So I added the carrot just to avoid it become a waste. But this ikan pekasam recipe is really delicious because I taste some sweetness comes from the carrot. Enjoy!

Tips

1. Use only little amount of cooking oil to cook the ikan pekasam.

2. Be careful when you add the chillies in hot cooking oil, because it will make the oil splatter. Better to cover the pan with a lid.

3. Ikan pekasam's meats are easily uprooted. So you need to handle it with care.

Ingredients

1 packet ikan pekasam
1/4, chopped carrot
1, chopped red onions
6 chilli
1 scoop cooking oil

Heat the cooking oil.

Add red onion, chillies and carrot. Cook until all ingredients seemed to wilt. Put all the ingredient out from pan and leave it alone.

Then add ikan pekasam into the same pan, cook with low heat. If the oil is not enough or the pan look dry, add just a little amount of cooking oil.

You can see the rice from ikan pekasam become crunchy and the ikan pekasam become golden colour and little bit crunchy.

You can leave it in the pan longer if you want it to be more crunchy. But be careful to not make it overcook.

Put the ikan pekasam on a plate and add the ingredients that you had prepare earlier onto it. Done!
