Hor Fun Noodles With Dumpling Soup

This recipe is common for Chinese in Malaysia.

Tips

It is more tasty for the noodles if you add fish ball and prawn into the soup before set aside a full bowl for the noodles.

Ingredients

2-3 pieces chicken thighs
2 handfuls prawn
1 small bowl pak choi
1 handfuls bean sprout
2 tbs fried onion
5-7 pieces fish ball
4 tbs light soy sauce
6 tbs oyster sauce
To taste salt
1 tbs chives
1/2 cup dumpling flour
1/4 cup cold water
1 handfuls spring onion
1 packet (or enough for 2 persons) hor fun noodles

Clean all the wet ingredients and all vegetables.

Boil water in a pot and add the chicken thighs. Boil them until tender and the water become oily. This soup we will use it for dumpling and noodles.

Once the chicken is tender and the soup is boiled, remove a full bowl of chicken soup and set aside. Keep this soup for the noodles.

Season the soup for the noodles which we already set aside. Add oyster sauce, light soy sauce and salt to taste. Done soup for noodles.

Method for dumpling

Add water gradually to dumpling flour. Knead the flour. Repeat until the flour become soft dough and it's not sticky.
