Creamy Wet Butter Prawn

my sister and i have always love butter prawns. we could even make a tour in searching for the best recipe made in town. this is why i created this recipe according to my kind of taste. hope you'll enjoy it!

Tips

best served with hot rice and also add more chillis to make it less 'muak'.

Ingredients

4-8 pcs (thinly sliced) bird's eye chilli (cili padi)
200 grams large prawns
3 tablespoon butter
3/4 can evaporated milk (canned)
20 leaves curry leaves
1 teaspoon corn flour (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoon garlic (blended)

Firstly, clean the prawns with fresh/tap water. do not remove the skin as it is important to flavour up the sauce.

Add cooking oil in the pan. then as the oil begins to heat up add butter. (oil helps to prevent the butter getting burnt easily)

Then, add in garlic and cook until it turns brownish.

Next, add in your prawns and cook it for a bit. we do not want to overcook them.

Quickly, add in a generous amount of evaporated milk of your choice. the quantity depends on the amount of sauce that you'd like.

The sauce will thickened in a few minutes. if its not then you have poured a little too much quantity of milk. dont worry, just add some cornstarch.
