Butter Cereal Prawn

I always order butter prawn meal when eating outside because I just love the combination of both. One day, I was thinking why not making it myself at home and I was browsing the internet when I saw the DeliChef Butter Cereal Seasoning Powder (pictured) in one of the blogs. So i decided to grab it at a Cosway store and try this simple homecooking recipe.

Tips

Stir fry the blended onions, lemongrass and chilly rice and other ingredients i.e. curry leaves, butter and egg yolks under a small heat to avoid any scorched. No need to add in any salt if you use salted butter, unless you are using the unsalted one.

Ingredients

300 grams prawn
1/3 of bar salted butter
1 peel onion
5 curry leave
2 chilly rice
50 gram (Half packet) butter cereal seasoning powder
2 table spoon cooking oil
3 egg yolk
1 lemongrass

Clean the prawns. Blend onions, lemongrass and chilly rices.

Heat the pan, add in the cooking oil. Stir fry all the blended ingredients.

Add in butter, curry leaves and continue to stir fry until fragrant. Add in the egg yolks and continue to stir fry.

Add in the prawns and stir fry until the prawns are brownish.

Add in the butter cereal prawn seasoning powder and stir until the prawns blend well with all the ingredients in the frying pan. Turn off the heat. The meal is ready.
