1 whole | tilapia fish |
1 tsp | turmeric powder |
1 tsp | salt |
2 diced | fresh tomatoes, |
1 diced | red bell pepper |
2 diced | onion |
2inch | ginger, slice thinly |
1 stalk | lemongrass, cleaned and smacked it |
4 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 tbsp | chili powder |
1 tbsp | oyster sauce |
3 tbsp | chili sauce |
Dash of | sugar & salt |
Oil for deep frying coat the fish with turmeric and salt.
Once the oil is hot add the fish in. Cook through until the fish turn crispy. Transfer into the plate

Use the oil from the frying fish earlier but only quarter of it. When the oil is hot add in the onions, lemongrass and ginger.

Stir until it brings out the fragrant. Slowly add in the tomato puree, oyster,chili powder and chili sauce.
