There is a Malay twist to this recipe of mine cos i love to put in cili padi for that extra kick!

Tips

Never burn the garlic. Else it will taste a bit bitter.

Ingredients

100 gram spaghetti
50 gram shrimp/prawn/squid
1/2 slice of tomatoes
100 gram button mushroom
3 pieces of cili padi
1/4 slices of onion
4 ulas garlic
A sprinkle of salt
A sprinkle of black pepper
A sprinkle of olive oil

Instructions

Boil spaghetti until al dente. After that, set it aside. Keep a bit of the water from boiling the spaghetti.

Drizzle olive oil into a pan and keep the flame low.

Saute garlic until yellowish. Don't let them get burnt.

Put in your seafood and don't overcook them. Take them out and put aside.

Put in the cili padi, let it fry for awhile.

Put in some of the spaghetti water to avoid the ingredients from getting burnt. Then, put in the mushrooms and let it cook for awhile.

After that, put in the boiled spaghetti and let it blend for awhile.

Then, put in the tomatoes, onions and the cooked seafood. After that, give the spaghetti a little stir and sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste.
