Bihun Soup With Half Boiled Egg

This recipe made with limited ingredient and tools. Since I don't own a fridge, I buy the durable goods to make sure I can store it longer at room temperature.

Tips

Leave bihun in water to make it softer before you start cooking.

Ingredients

Just enough, chopped carrot
Just enough, cut into small pieces cabbage
2 cloves, minced garlic
1/2, chopped bombay onion
1 teaspoon salt
2 pinch black pepper
1/2 cube chicken cubes
2 cups water
Just enough bihun
1 egg
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Chili Soy Sauce
4 chilli
Half, sliced bombay onion
3 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar

Prepare the vegetables, garlic and onion. You can add other vegetables that you like.

Heat the oil.

Add garlic and onion to the pot. Cook until it become golden colour.

Add water, salt, black pepper and chicken cube. Wait until it boiled.

Add carrot, cabbage and bihun. Mix all ingredient until it cooked.

Taste the soup. You can add salt according to your preference. Then put it in a bowl.

Half boiled Egg

Put egg into the pot, add water and cover the pot. Make sure the egg sink entirely.

Put out the fire immediately after the water boiled. Leave it in hot water for 5 minutes.

Put out the egg immediately and soak in cold water. Then you can add your half boiled egg into the same bowl.

Chilli soy sauce

Fry the onions and chillies. After it become golden colour you can put it in a new bowl.
